ImfxEditor Program Help
This program allows you to view the contents of files saved in the IMFX format.
This format was developed and is used by the State Customs Service of Ukraine for receiving information from declarants.
Currently, almost all electronic copies of documents are accepted by the SCS in this format.
Such documents include: cargo customs declaration, customs value declaration, accreditation card of a foreign economic activity entity, register of vehicles, etc.
After installing the program, your computer will recognize files with the *.imfx extension, and double-clicking a file in the file explorer will open it in this program.
Program Installation
To install the program on your computer, download the installer from the
program's web page,
run it, and follow the instructions of the installation program.
The program requires .Net Framework 2.0. If you see an error message when starting the installer, download and install this product.
Tip: When installing on computers with the Windows 7 operating system or newer, do not install the program on the same drive where Windows is installed.
Program Registration
To fully use the program's necessary functions, it must be registered. The registration process involves obtaining a registration key, which is issued after purchasing the required license. The license for an unregistered copy of the program is the "Free" license. See the feature comparison table for the program's licenses on the program's web page.
Attention! The "Trial" license is free and allows you to familiarize yourself with all the program's functions in full for one month. Upon first launch, you will automatically be prompted to obtain this license.
Information about the current license can be found by using the program's menu item "Help - About".
Working with the Program
Viewing Documents
The program window consists of the main menu, a file structure tree, and a viewing window.
The viewing window, in turn, consists of two tabs - "View" and "Content".
The structure tree displays files opened in the program and their contents.
The viewing window displays the content of the file element selected in the structure tree.
The "View" tab shows the visual content, for example, a formatted customs declaration or
a scanned copy of a document, while the "Content" tab shows the textual content of the selected element
(for example, an XML file).
You can open an IMFX file in the program either by double-clicking the file in Windows Explorer (or another file manager), or, by first launching the program, use the menu item "File - Open". The program allows you to open and view several files simultaneously. To open multiple files at once, when selecting files in the file open dialog, hold down the Ctrl key and select the files you need to open with the mouse.
Editing XML Documents
Using the ImfxEditor program, you can make changes to some XML documents contained within the IMFX file. You cannot edit XML documents for special purposes defined by the IMFX format (envelope, contents) and files signed with an electronic digital signature. To switch to edit mode, you need to go to the "Content" tab in the viewing window, select the XML document you want to edit in the structure tree, and select the menu item "File - Edit". After this, the text field containing the XML will become available for modification. After making changes, you must use the menu item "File - Save".
